maintaining the high standard of hospitality with particular regard to

respecting the environment. This demands particular commitment on the

part of the Rocco, but also a greater awareness on the part of the

guest regarding reduction of unnecessary consumption.

Amongst the eco-friendly practices already in current use, Rocco advises:

Use of led lights in rooms and throughout Rocco's

Utilizing solar hot water heating systems in place of resource consuming tanks.

Solar panels assisting AC power throughout Rocco's Place.

                           

A innovative in room 1 amp cooling system that not only extract warm air from the

room but circulates cool air through the wall and ceiling voids cooling the interior

walls and ceiling to a comfortable level so as to eliminate the need to

use air conditioning. All rooms equipped with Eco X air

conditioners when AC is desired.

Partnership with taxis and Eco-riders, providers of

low-emission transportation.

Choice of low environmental-impact or ecologically certified cleaning.

Non-utilization of toilet soaps (some 15,000 pieces used only once or twice

and then thrown away every year) in favor of large liquid soap dispensers

(1 liter of ecologically acceptable product) to be refilled as necessary.

Change of bed linen only on request.

Biologically acceptable food products.

Differentiated collection of refuse in the offices and operative areas of Rocco's.

Recycling of printed office paper and staff made aware of a moderate use of printers.
